Karri Honey TA 10+
Actual reading TA 19.1
Our Karri honey is sourced from the old growth, majestic karri forests within Mount Frankland National Park.
The Eucalyptus diversicolor commonly known as Karri is a native tree unique to the South West region of Western Australia.
These beautiful, tall forest giants typically reach heights of 60-70m with rare individuals exceeding heights of 80m.
The majestic beauty of the giant Karri tree is reflected in the honey produced, making it a highly sought after and rare variety.
This is due to the complex and infrequent flowering cycle, with the forest giants only flowering significantly every seven or often more years.
Light in colour and delicately sweet in flavour, the Karri crystallises to a silky smooth fine granual honey straight from the heart of the South West region.
See Honey and Pollen for further raw honey varieties.
